PROSE POETRY
EDWARD MICHAEL SUPRANOWICZ
NEON SUNSET
I hate to love you in the city. There are too many angles and corners, too many stoplights, alleys, one-way streets. No, I want to touch you in an open field, let my eyes wander over you and all of creation. But we are here, so please open the window. Maybe there’s a breeze tonight.
Edward Michael Supranowicz is the grandson of Irish and Russian/Ukrainian immigrants. He grew up on a small farm in Appalachia. He has a grad background in painting and printmaking. Some of his artwork has recently or will soon appear in Fish Food, Streetlight, The Phoenix, Harvard Advocate, and more. Edward is also a published poet who has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize multiple times.
