MAGGIE NONFICTION AWARD


Though our nonfiction awards have been through several iterations and included several subgenres, we're now bunching them together in our Maggie Nonfiction Award. This will be an honorary award (non-monetary) which we hope to resume in early 2025 reflecting the pieces accepted in 2024.

Eastern Iowa Review's Editor's Choice Lyric Essay Award (2018)

1st place: Eanlai Cronin's "Written in Stone" (lyric essay)
